Gill, Paul and Nick are focussed on helping their local community.
Gill Allott is involved in many local initiatives to help better the Newquay area. One that’s closest to her heart is the monthly Fistral Beach Clean run by local people who want to keep their favourite beach spik and span whilst helping the coastal environment.
Paul Shipley is a local hotelier. He runs the St Bernards Hotel on Berry Road. Originally from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire where Paul set up a CIC and Charity based on taking youngsters from local schools football training. Paul brings a wealth of experience to Crystal Blue Adventures. Paul and his son are firm fans of Coasteering having met Nick when they first tried it back in 2023.
Nick Webb grew up in Newquay and went to school in the town. After a career in advertising in London, Nick moved back to Newquay, where he worked as a Marketing Manager at Lusty Glaze beach. Lusty Glaze was the first Adventure Centre on Cornwall’s north coast which is where Nick learnt to Coasteer. In 2012, he set up Bare Feet Coasteer, which is based at Fistral Beach . This gave him the inspiration to create Crystal Blue Adventures CIC in 2024, to help deliver the benefits of ‘Blue Health’ to the local community.
